1 item (originally enclosed in Colonial Office paper number 17112 of September 1894) extracted from CO 417/126. 'A map of Matabililand and Mashonaland, Manica and Gazaland; by E.A. Maund'. MS reference table. Scale: 1 inch to about 42 miles. London, Stanford's Geographical Establishment. Published for the Proceedings of the Royal Geographical Society, 1891. MS additions, show boundaries between British South Africa Company's territory in Matabeleland (now in Zimbabwe) and British High Commissioner's administration in Bechuanaland and Khama's country (now Botswana); the Tati District; and the Customs Union Boundary. Manica is now in Zimbabwe and Mozambique; Gazaland is now Gaza province, Mozambique. Also shown are parts of the South African Republic (Transvaal, now in South Africa).
