'La Brea Village showing excavations of Pitch on Crown Lands'; plan also showing acreage, ownership and limits of privately owned land, roads, buildings, place names. Colour key and keys to excavations and encroachments by Mr H Hadley and others. Scale: 1 inch to 4 chains. Compass indicator. 'Plan prepared and excavations surveyed by Rob. Kernahan, Sworn Surveyor'.
