Sketch map of Captain Salkeld's safari from Kismayu in Italian Somaliland (now Kismayo in Somalia) to the Lorian swamp area, East Africa Protectorate (now Kenya), showing villages, tribal areas, contours, water-courses, and comments on geographical features. Also shown are routes of Mr Haywood, Mr Dracopoli, and Mr Dundas, and the site where Mr Jenner was killed. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to about 16 miles. Compass indicator. The map bears the note 'This map will fade if exposed to the light for many months.'
