4 items extracted from CO 879/34/2. (1)-(3) 'Map of the Boundary between the English & French Possessions in Senegambia from the coast to the points beyond which the boundary follows the River Gambia at an even distance of 10 kilometres from either bank'. (4) 'Map of the Anglo-French Boundary in Senegambia delimited by the Anglo-French Commission in May 1891 continued up to the Eastern limit of the Boundary, 10 kilometres East of Yarbutenda'. The survey was carried out by the Anglo-French Commission of Delimitation from December 1890 to April 1891 and determined the boundary between present-day Senegal and the Gambia. All four sheets. drawn by W G Gibson, Corporal, Royal Engineers. IDWO 848b and 848d bear reference tables and are signed by A H Kenney, Captain Royal Engineers, British Commissioner, 2 May and 11 June 1891.
