Description

2 items (enclosures in Sir W G Armstrong Whitworth and Company's letter CE/520/7895 of 21 April [19]21 illustrating Mr Alexander's report) extracted from CO 733/2. (1) Plan of the port of Haifa (in Palestine, now in Israel) showing present (1921) development scheme and future proposed extension. Including depths in fathoms. MS coloured. Scale: 1:10000. (2) Plan of Jaffa (in Palestine, now Yafo in Israel), showing the present scheme and the proposed extension of the port. Also shows the districts of Tell Abib (Tel Aviv) and Ajami with buildings, roads, railway, cemeteries, schools, etc. Printed, coloured, with coloured and pencil MS additions. Scale: 1:6000. Compass indicator. Reproduced by the Survey of Egypt, June 1918.
