(1) Plan of Lagos Island, Lagos [now in Nigeria], showing the layout of the town, lagoons, reclaimed land, and Iddo Island connected to Lagos Island by Carter Bridge. Scale: 1 inch to 660 feet. Compass indicator. Intelligence Department, S[outhern] N[igeria] Regiment. Enclosed in despatch of 2 December 1907. (2) 'Map of Lagos Town and Island [now in Nigeria] with Circumjacent Features'. Sheet 2. Notes on survey. Scale: 4 inches to 1 mile. Compass rose. Surveyed by E P Cotton, Commissioner of Lands, 9 September 1904. Drawn by J A Pratt. Printed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, 1904. Coloured MS additions show reclaimed land and gravelled roads. 'Submitted in connection with C.S. 4441/06 C.V. Bellamy, 29.11.7'. Dimensions: (1) 67 cm x 55 cm; (2) 96 cm x 73 cm.
