Compiled and lithographed at the Intelligence Branch, War Office, by J E Hawkins, under the direction of Major W R Fox RA D[eputy] A[ssistant] Q[uarter] M[aster] G[eneral] November 1884. Revised May 1885. Inset: Southern Africa.
