2 items (originally Annexure B and Annexure F to despatch of H Cloete Ison dated 30 November 1843) extracted from CO 48/246 (folios 199, 203). (1) Plan of D'Urban (now Durban) town, Natal (now Kwazulu/Natal) showing numbered allotments, some with owners' names, market, and chapel ground. Scale: 1 inch to 400 Rhineland feet. Compass indicator. Pencilled addition: a citadel with 'B camp' written within. (2) Plan of Congella Natal (now Kwazulu/Natal) showing properties and extent of extensive marshy ground at times under water. Reference table to properties etc. Compass indicator. Dated 27 July 1843. Each plan measures 32 cm x 40 cm.
