1 item extracted from CO 48/187 (folio 83). Cape Town (now in South Africa). Two plans on one sheet. (1)'... Portion of the Enclosure formerly used as a Yard to the Menagerie... and granted to the Council of the South African College on the 15th January 1838 ...'. Scale: 1 inch to about 27 Rhineland feet. Compass indicator. (2) 'Plan of the Government Garden shewing... the portion proposed to be appropriated to a College'. Reference table. Scale: approximately 1 inch to 300 Rhineland feet. The second plan serves as a site plan to the first.
