'Sketch [map] showing the relative positions of the Town of Somerset [now in South Africa] & the farms Jordaanskraal, Britskraal, Dirkskraal, Palmietfontein and Boerslaagte and Vygeboomsfontein'. Scale: 1 inch to about 2 miles. A true copy signed by Henry de Smidt of an original signed by A. de Smidt, A[ssistant] S[urveyor] G[eneral], 4 March 1867. The scale is on a separate strip of paper.
