2 items extracted from CO 48/100. (1) Grant of lands near the River Kowie in Albany District, Cape of Good Hope (now Cape Province, South Africa), to Henry Nourse. On the reverse: plan of the lands mentioned in the grant, showing springs, streams, thickets and nature of adjacent country. Scale: 1 inch to 200 Rhijnland roods. Compass indicator. Surveyed by J Knobel, sworn surveyor. Copied by John Melvile, Government surveyor, 1821. (2) Plan of a different tract of land, also near the Kowie river. Scale: 1 inch to 200 Rhijnland roods. Compass indicator. Surveyed by J Knobel, sworn surveyor.
