3 items extracted from CO 209/246. (1) 2 maps on one sheet. (a) Map of the Hot Lake district, Auckland province, New Zealand. Scale: 1 inch to 25 miles. (b) Map of part of the Hot Lake district. Scale: 1 inch to 3 miles. On the reverse, a view of Wairoa township from Te Komiti, with reference key. (2) Map of 'Provincial District of Auckland Sheet No 4', with hot springs marked. Scale: 1 inch to 4 miles. Compass indicator. (3) Map of part of the North Island of New Zealand, showing the volcanic zone. The area depicted comprises Taranaki province and pars of Auckland, Wellington and Hawkes Bay provinces. The map has been trimmed so that the scale bar and reference table are incomplete. Printing and publication details are also lacking. Dimensions: (1a) 14.5 cm x 19.5 cm; (1b) 24 cm x 25.75 cm; (2) 65.3 cm x 58.7 cm; (3) 32 cm x 20 cm.
