The map shows the whole of North Island. Reference table to confiscated lands. No scale shown. Lithographed by Evans & Co, Fort Street, Auckland, New Zealand. Published by Geo[rge] T Chapman, bookseller and stationer, Auckland Table of confiscated lands. Inset. Map of 'Middle Island' (now the South Island), New Zealand, showing Nelson, Canterbury and Otago provinces. No scale shown. (2) 'Map of the Province of Canterbury, New Zealand, Compiled, Drawn and Published under authority of the Provincial Government September 1866.' Scale: 1 inch to 10 miles.
