2 items extracted from CO 209/186. (1) Map of Auckland and Waikato districts, New Zealand. The map is made up from parts of three sheets pasted onto a single backing sheet. It shows soundings, details of tides and other navigational information and the positions of Curaçoa, Esk, Harrier, Miranda and Pioneer. Scale: 1 inch to 4.5 miles. (2) 'Map of part of the Northern Island (now North Island) of New Zealand, shewing the scene of the military operations of 1863-4.' Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 10 miles. Lithographed at the Topographical Depot of the War Office under the superintendence of Major A C Cooke RE. Dimensions: (1) 54.6 cm x 67.3 cm; (2) 64.8 cm x 91.4 cm.
