8 items (enclosures in despatch number 157 of 1 June 1878) extracted from CO 273/94. Plans relating to the Singapore Water Supply. (1) Section along the dam head showing different strata passed through in the excavation of trench for puddle well. Scale: 1 inch to 40 feet. (2) Cross section of waste weir. Scale: 1 inch to 12 feet. (3) Cross section through middle of embankment, showing various strata encountered. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet. (4) Plan of pumping station engine house. Scale: 1 inch to 12 feet. All signed by J F A McNair, Major RA and W D Bayliss, Civil Engineer. (5)-(8) Copies (on tracing paper) of (1)-(4) signed by WD Bayliss. Dimensions: (1) and (5) 29.2 cm x 67.8 cm; (2) and (6) 16 cm x 29.7 cm; (3) and (7) 29.2 cm x 45.7 cm; (4) and (8) 27.9 cm x 45.2 cm.
