2 items extracted from CO 309/42 (ff 68, 69). (1) Chart of the north end of King Island, Bass Strait (Tasmania). Scale: 1 inch to 1 sea mile. Surveyed by W H Burgoyne and lithographed by J Jones. The chart originally accompanied a report on a lighthouse on Cape Wickham. (2) Chart of the waters in the vicinity of Wilson's Promontory, Victoria and the proposed lighthouse there. Scale: 1 inch to 1 sea mile. Surveyed by M H W Ross, Commander RN and lithographed by J Jones. Dimensions: (1) 41.9 cm x 53.3 cm; (2) 63.4 cm. x 65.4 cm.
