(1) Plan of Port Royal harbour, Ratan (now Roatan Island, Honduras), 1742, showing shoals, rocks and islands in harbour, camp, watering place, possible town site. Endorsed 'Plan of Ratan, Mr. Armstrong'. Scale: 5 inches to 1 mile. Compass indicator. (2) 'Plan and Soundings of Port Royal in his Majestys new Colony in Ratan (now Roatan Island, Honduras), Surveyed July 1743.' Lines of soundings, the camp, town plan of Williamsburg. Inset: a view of the harbour, with ships at anchor. Reference table to defences, buildings, etc. Dedication, in rococo cartouche, to John, Duke of Montague [Montagu], Master General of the Ordnance. Scale: 1 inch to 200 paces. Compass rose. By William Cunninghame, engineer, 1743. 'A true copy by Isaac Pearson'. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 38.4 cm x 48.5 cm; (2) 33 cm x 45.5 cm.
