4 items extracted from CO 18/101 (folios 425, 426, 455 and 456 respectively). (1) Plan of lands in the Leschenault District of Western Australia selected by Sir James Stirling and acquired from him by the Western Australian Company by 1843. Scale: 1 inch to 2 miles. (2) 'Sketch of the three blocks of land acquired by me for the Western Australia Company, in completion oftheir right onder the grant purchased of Sir James Stirling'. M Waller Clifton, Chief Commissioner, Australia. 5 December 1843. Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile. On tracing cloth. (3) Plan of part of the Greenhough River, Western Australia, from the mouth, showing the locations marked out in May 1857. Scale: 1 inch to 25 chains. (4) Eye sketch of part of the Murchison River, Western Australia. Scale: 1 inch to about 6 miles. By F T Gregory, Assistant Surveyor, March 1857. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 31.8 cm x 44.5 cm; (2) 52.7 cm x 80 cm; (3) 44.5 cm x 99.5 cm (irregular: damaged at left); (4) 52.5 cm x 69 cm (irregular: damaged at left)
