2 items extracted from CO 280/185 (folios 116, 131). (1) Plan of Part of the west coast of Port Arthur, Tasman's Peninsula, Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania). In a decorated border. Scale: 8 inches to 1 mile. Surveyed by John R Hurst. (2) Plan, sections and elevations of a proposed penitentiary for 800 bys at Safety Cove in lieu of the existing establishment at Point Puer, Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania). Scale: 1 inch to about 31 feet. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 54 cm x 76.2 cm; (2) 54.6 cm x 79.4 cm.
