4 items extracted from CO 280/95 (folios 152-155). Map, in four sections, of Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania). (1) South-east section, with notes, mainly historical and nautical. Scale: 1 inch to 8 miles. (2) North-east section, with notes, mainly historical and nautical. Scale: 1 inch to 8 miles. (3) Plan of Hobart, showing proposed sites of batteries to cover the approaches. Scale: 1 inch to 10 chains. (4) Chart of the estuary of the river Tamar, showing the reach by George Town to be defended by a coast battery. No scale shown. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 27.9 cm x 34.9 cm; (2) 27.9 cm x 34.9 cm; (3) 45.1 cm x 57.1 cm; (4) 43.2 cm x 52.7 cm.
