2 items (enclosures to despatch of 10 October 1834) extracted from CO 201/241. Australia. (1) Map of part of New South Wales covering an area between approximately 150° and 153° latitude and 30° and 33° longitude and centred on Port Macquarie. Scale: 1 inch to about 8 miles. (2) Map of part of New South Wales covering an area between approximately 148° and 153° latitude and 30° and 36° longitude and including the coast from north of Port Macquarie to Batemans Bay. Scale: 1 inch to about 8 miles. (1) covers the same area (but is not identical to) the northern portion of (2). Both by [Sir] T L Mitchell Surveyor General and engraved by John Carmichael. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 64 cm x 47 cm; (2) 64 cm x 130 cm.
