5 items (enclosures to Governor Chester's despatch of 29 September 1770) extracted from CO 5/577 (folios 475-484). Florida: Pensacola. (1-3) Plans, elevation and section of a house occupied by the Governor: (1) Section and ground floor plan; (2) Elevation of north front and first floor plan; (3) Upper storey. (4) 'A Proposed plan of a new House and Offices for the Governor of West Florida, Estimated at 2,500 £ Sterling. Elias Durnford, Engineer for West Florida'. Reference table to rooms. (5) Plan of servants' rooms, storerooms, a garden for the proposed house depicted in (4). Scales: (1-3) 1 inch to 5 feet; (2) 1 inch to10 feet (3) 1 inch to about 14 feet.
