Map showing distribution and numbers of native population in Cape Colony (Western and Eastern Provinces), Natal, 'The Free State' [Orange Free State], British Basutoland, Zululand, 'Independent Kaffirland', and 'Transkeian Territory (sic)', with parts of the Transvaal Republic and the Kalahari Desert. The map marks the positions of diamond fields. Population table of Europeans and natives. Scale: 1 inch to about 60 miles.
