Description

1 item (enclosure to Rear Admiral Christian's despatch of 18 January 1796) extracted from CO 318/18 (folio 259). Chart of the track of the ship HMS Glory between 10 December 1795 and 26 January 1796 off the coasts of France and Spain. Scale: 1 inch to about 75 miles. Christian was conducting a convoy to the West Indies when he was beset by bad weather. The chart shows his track during the period of the storm.
