2 items (enclosures to Admiral Watson's letter of 9 February 1749) extracted from CO 194/12. Newfoundland: Placentia. (1) 'Plan of Fort Frederick... on the South Side of the Harbour'. Reference table to batteries, buildings etc. (2) 'Plan of the New Fort Erecting... on the North side of the Harbour.' Both bear reference tables to batteries, buildings etc. Scale: (both sheets) 1 inch to 50 feet.
