Description

1 item (enclosure to Lord Aylmer's despatch of 22 May 1833) extracted from CO 42/243 (folio 633). Quebec. 'Skeleton and Figurative Plan of the Counties of Stanstead, Sherbrooke, Missiskoui, Shefford, Drummond, Megantic and part of Nicolet... exhibiting the Ungranted and Waste Lands of the Crown ...'. Place names, notes on crown reserves, clergy reserves and detached surveyed lands, with acreage. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 8 miles. Compass indicator. Signed by Joseph Bouchette, surveyor general, 20 May 1833.
