Description

1 item (enclosure to Lord Aylmer's despatch of 16 June 1835) extracted from CO 42/257 (folio 52). Quebec. Sketch map of the eastern townships of Lower Canada in the counties of Missisquoi, Stanstead, Shefford, Drummond, Sherbrooke, Megantic and Nicolet showing a line of communication between Quebec and the district of St. Francis by the Rivers Becancour and St. Francis. Distance table and table of falls in water level between Lake Joseph and Lake Aylmer on River Becancour. Scale: 1 inch to about 8.5 miles. Engraved by J Jones, Quebec.
