1 item (enclosures in Mr James George's letter of 20 December 1824) extracted from CO 42/202 . Quebec. Plans, sections and drawings of a proposed wooden railway for horse-drawn wagons and of a scheme for using steam power to convey small sailing vessels and wagons, overland by rail on cradles. The steam, generated from a boiler house, was to be used to supply power to chains, by which the cradles etc. would be drawn.
