1 item (enclosure to Lieutenant Governor Carleton's letter of 25 November 1767) extracted from CO 42/7 (folio 55). 'Design for a Cittadel at Quebec 1767'. Apart from the title the only words appearing on this plan are 'Pownall 1774' on an outwork on the western edge of the citadel: perhaps in honour of Thomas Pownall, a colonial governor (but not of Quebec). Compass indicator.
