1 item extracted from CO 201/383. Australia: New South Wales: Sydney. 'Sketch of Port Jackson. Pointing Out the Sites of Works of Defence.' Reference table to existing and proposed works. Scale: about 2 inches to 1 mile Compass indicator. Signed by Lt Col James Gordon, RE. The sketch accompanied his report to Colonial Secretary, 9 March 1847, which is enclosure 2 to Sir C A Fitzroy's despatch number 166 of 20 August 1847. This map was subsequently lithographed by J Allan, Sydney. Copies of the print are in CO 204/25 p 639 and WO 1/521, f 101
