'Proposed Trunk Line of Railway from Halifax to Quebec as surveyed by Major Robinson & Captain Henderson Royal Engineers, and Approved by the Imperial Government. 1858. William Penny, Lith. 57 Lincolns Inn Fields.' Reference table to lines constructed and projected. The map also shows existing railways in Canada and the United States and a proposed line from Pembroke, Ontario to the West coast, with navigation through Lakes Huron and Superior.
