1 item extracted from CO 6/18. Northern North America; Greenland. 'A Chart on which are laid down the lines of the Different Voyages into Arctic Regions from the Year 1818': area round the North Pole from 20°E to 180°W, with coloured lines showing exploration routes to 1828. Scale: 1 inch to about 225 miles. A note signed by John Barrow explains that there is insufficient data on the late Expedition under Captain Ross to include its route. Evidently prepared for lithography since it bears the words 'S. Arrowsmith, lithog'. With the report from the Select Committee on the Expedition to the Arctic Seas commanded by Captain John Ross, RN.
