1 item extracted from CO 267/11. West Africa. 'Ground Plan of Cape Coast Castle As Survey'd in March & April A.D.1756 by Justly Watson Director of Engineers'. Shows apartments and other rooms (named), including the Corporals' Room and 'Black Hole'; and 'Air Holes over the Vaults where the Slaves are kept'. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet. Compass indicator. A note states: 'The Figures 1654 are upon the Keystone of the Arch to the Warehouse'.
