1 item extracted from CO 267/11. West Africa. 'Plan of James Fort, Accra in Africa'. Shows position of stores, slave holes, barracks, spur yard etc. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet. Compass indicator. Title in rococo cartouche decorated with drawings of a monkey, a cat-like animal, plants and foliage, and surmounted by a tropical bird. Surveyed by Justly Watson, Director of Engineers, January 1756. A dotted line through the fort suggests that a section may have been drawn or intended.
