'Map of Canada shewing Generally the Several Public Works Completed or now in Progress; As embraced and authorised by IIIrd & IVth Victoriae Cap 28; Also Exhibiting the Different Lines of Roads undertaken by the Respective Districts'. Boundaries and coastlines coloured. The map covers the area roughly bordered by lines drawn from Lake Superior, Indianapolis, Washington DC and Nova Scotia. Scale: 1 inch to about 30 miles. Table of works in progress showing estimates of cost and completion dates. With MS additions. Lithographed by J Arrowsmith. Printed by James and Luke G Hansard.
