Scale: 1 inch to about 1790 yards. Compass indicator. Signed by John Bird, Government Surveyor. Copied by Joseph Cooke, sworn surveyor. Enclosed in despatch no 95 of 12 November 1849 from Donald Moodie, Colonial Secretary and Treasurer, to John Montague, secretary to the Government, Cape Town.
