1 item extracted from CO 179/8. Natal. Plan of the townlands of Pietermaritzburg showing Ordnance property, the town, and two small private allotments. With a note on the Ordnance property. Scale: 1 inch to about 800 yards. Compass indicator. 'Reduced and compiled from the General plans framed by Messrs. Cloete and Piers, Govert Surveyors, by me E.J. McGill, Draughtsman July 26 1849'. Copied by Joseph Cooke, Sworn Surveyor. 'Compared 17/1/50 Charles Bell, Surveyor General'.
