1 item extracted from CO 48/77. Cape Colony. 'General Plan of the South-Eastern Part of the District of Albany... shewing the situation and exact boundaries of the lands allotted for the Location of English Settlers as well as Towns, Military and other establishments... Surveyed in the years 1820, 1821 & 1822 by J Knobel, Swn. Surveyor'. Reference table to locations, public lands, quitrents, and unappropriated or unmeasured land. Scale: 1 inch to about 1.5 miles. Compass indicator. Key to numbered locations, with names of directors. A note dated 1 June 1825 has been added to this map stating that recent augmentations were not shown on the map as the surveys had not been completed.
