Sketch of the harbour of St John, showing the outline (in blue) based on an inaccurate survey of 1765, and grants of land made between 1765 and 1784; and the true outline (in red). Showing place names, grantees, acreage. The map was drawn in connection with a dispute between the heirs of the late Messrs Simmonds, Hazen and White and the Common Council of the City of St John. Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile. Compass indicator.
