4 items extracted from CO 280/278 (folio 288). Australia: Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania): Hobart. 4 plans of the Female House of Correction. (1) Showing proposed additions and alterations to part of the ground floor. (2) 'Drawing No.3': showing proposed additions and alterations to part of the upper floor. (3) 'Drawing No.2': showing proposed additions and alterations to a different part of the ground floor. (4) 'Drawing No.1': unnumbered sheet, showing the existing layout of the ground floor and outbuildings, with a proposed new approach and bridge. Scale: 1 inch to about 18 feet. Item 4 signed: Captain John Twiss, Commanding Hospital Superintendent, 28 May 1850. Dimensions between 72.5 cm x 101.5 cm and 21.5 cm x 30.5 cm.
