Croquis d'apres la Carte Autrichienne sur l'Echelle de 1/300,000': map showing the Bulgarian frontier between Silistra and the Black Sea: as proposed by the Russians and by the Romanians, as laid down in the Treaty of Berlin and as accepted by the Boundary Commission; MS, coloured, on tracing paper; edges damaged. Reference table. Probably traced from item 2. Signed: Colonel R Home, Royal Engineers. (2) Map consisting of 2 copper heliographed sheets of the Austrian Staff Map, joined: P 10 'Silistria [now spelled Silistra]' and [Q 10] 'Küstendze' [now Constanta]. Published 1875 (sheet Q 10) and 1876 (sheet P 10). MS additions, coloured, showing the boundary as in item 1; reference table to additions. Dimensions: (1) 31 cm x 50 cm; (2) 42 cm x 96 cm. Item 1 originally enclosed in Colonel Home's despatch, 26 November [1878]; item 2 previously filed with the same despatch.
