1 item (originally plate 25 of Kiepert's Neuer Handatlas) extracted from FO 32/496. South-eastern Europe. 'Türkei und Griechenland': map of Greece, part of Turkey [and neighbouring territory]. Corrected 1876. Inset: map of Constantinople (now Istanbul) and the Bosphorus (now Bosporus) strait; scale: 1:300,000. Previously illustrating a memorandum entitled: 'Quelques mots sur les cartes de l'Orient', and correspondence between Kiepert and Professor C Paparrigopoulo at Berlin about the ethnographic delimitations of Turkey in Europe; both map and papers were enclosed in Hugh Wyndham's [despatch] number 176, 23 March 1878.
