Description

2 items (originally illustrating a report by Edo Kardelj, President of the Slovenian Communist Party, 4 October 1943; transmitted via the Yugoslav and British Legations to the Holy See, March 1944) extracted from FO 371/44271. Slovenia [under German occupation]. 2 maps. (1) 'Province de Ljubljana': showing numbers of churches, private houses and cultural establishments said to have been destroyed; places where mass executions were alleged to have been carried out; and the boundary with Italy before and after 1941. Reference table. Scale: 1:200,000. MS additions, coloured. (2) 'La position géographique de la Slovénie': showing Slovenian ethnic territory and the boundary of Ljubljana. Reference note. Scale: 1:10,000,000. MS additions, coloured. Dimensions: (1) 45 cm x 65 cm; (2) 18 cm x 26.5 cm.
