3 items extracted from FO 371/5895. Central Europe: Upper Silesia (now in Poland). 3 maps showing the distribution of Polish and German communities in the region and the result of the plebiscite. (1) 'Résultat du plébiscite en Haute Silésie par communes, d'après les données, parvenues jusqu'au 22.III.1921'. Reference table. Scale: 1:300,960 (calculated). Compiled by Buzoan, Geographer to the Polish Delegation at Paris, March 1921. (2) Copy of item 1, with MS addition, coloured, showing the frontier proposed by Korfanty. (3) 'Górny Slask (Teren Plebiscytowy) - Haute Silésie (Territoire Plébiscitaire)': also showing the Korfanty line and the River Oder. Reference table. Scale: 1:150,000. [By] 'Mfr. Inz. K Firichi u.W. St. Grochowski' for the Polish Plebiscite Committee. Dimensions: (1-2) 56 cm x 44 cm; (3) 105 cm x 82 cm. Item 1 originally enclosed in a letter from Jean Cièchanowski, Polish chargé d'affaires, London, to Sir Eyre Crowe, 5 April 1921; Item 3 originally enclosed in a letter from Etienne Przezdzieck, Polish Ministry for Foreign Affair, 7 April 1921; transmitted in a despatch of W G Max Muller, 12 April 1921.
