3 items (previously among the papers of Sir Lintorn Simmons) extracted from FO 358/6. Caucasus. (1) Plan of the fortress of Aleksandropol (now Gyumri, Armenia), also showing the surrounding hills and the River Arpa. Reference table. Scale: 1 inche to 400 yards. (2-3) 2 sheets of sections, showing the north, east and west fronts, and caponnière. Apparently sent by Lieutenant Colonel W Lennox, Royal Engineers, to Captain [R Home], Royal Engineers, 2 December 1865. Further sketches remain in the parent document.
