5 items extracted from FO 371/17872. Iraq and Saudi Arabia. 3 different adjoining sheets (and 2 copies) taken from a map on multiple sheets, showing towns, routes, railways etc, and the international boundary. (1) 'Ash Shabicha. Iraq Desert 1:500000'; (2) Amended version of item 1, differently coloured and using a different boundary symbol; (3) 'Salman-Busaiya. Iraq Desert 1:50000': also marking a neutral zone; (4) Same as item 2; (5) 'Wadi Al Ubaiyidh. Iraq Desert 1:500000': also marking a neutral zone. Reference tables. Compass indicators. Compiled at A[llied] H[ead]Q[uarters] Iraq, 1932 (except item 3); drawn at the War Office; printed by Ordnance Survey, 1934; published by the War Office, 1934. MS amendments to reference table of item 3. Endorsements to items 2, 4-5: 'For official use only'; 'Boundary based on best information available'. The changes to items 2 and 4 were made as a result of correspondence between Geographical Section, General Staff at the War Office and C F A Warner at the Foreign Office. Sheet sizes between: 52 cm x 46 cm and 62 cm x 51 cm.
