3 items (given to the British military attaché in Constantinople by the Turkish Military Member of the Armistice Commission, and forwarded to the Foreign Office in Admiral Richard Webb's despatch, 13 October 1919) extracted from FO 371/4238. South-west Asia: Middle East and Turkey. 3 copies of a map showing Turkish territory (extending as far as areas now in Egypt and Iraq): place names and other details marked (?in Turkish) in Arabic script. Different MS additions, coloured, to each item, showing aspects of the [1st World War] armistice situation relative to the Ottoman Empire: (1) 'Front des armées ottomanes & leurs positions à la date de la conclusion de la Convention d'Armistice'; (2) 'Carte indiquant la situation telle qu'elle aurait été en cas d'application exacte des clauses de la Convention d'Armistice'; (3) 'Situation en Turquie à la date du lier Août 1919'. MS reference tables to front lines, the disposition of troops, occupation zones and occupied railways. On sheets: 92 cm x 61 cm.
