(1) 'Map of Danes Island & neighbourhood extracted from Admy Chart': showing high land, islands, reaches, rivers, forts, docks and stones. Dimensions: 26 cm x 37 cm. Originally an enclosure to a Memorandum by P O'Brien-Butler, Canton, 15 January 1884. (2) Map of Anson Bay, showing islands, creeks, coastline, coastline, high land, forts, batteries, docks. Compass indicator. Dimensions: 45 cm x 55 cm. Originally Enclosure Number 3 in Dr Hance's [despatch] number 30, 25 February, 1884. (3) Chinese map of Danes Island and neighbourhood. Marked: 'Viceroy's Map of River Barriers', and endorsed: 'True Copy. L.C. Hopkins'. Dimensions: 38 cm x 65 cm. Originally enclosed in Dr Hances's [despatch] number 33, from Her Majesty's Consulate, Canton, 6 March 1884.
