1 item (enclosure in letter from Merivale at the India Office relating to the complaint of the Persian Government about the seizure of Chabahar by the Muscat, 27 May 1872) extracted from FO 60/391. 'A Part of Beluchistan [now usually Baluchistan] with part of Mekran [Makran] and the Perso-Beluch Boundary ...': map showing rivers, towns, districts, high ground in relief, observed positions and the route of the 'Special Mission to Mekran under Mjr. Gen. F. J. Goldsmid CB'; (the area shown is now in Iran and Pakistan). Scale: 1 inch to 9 miles. Compiled and drawn by Captain Beresford Lovett, Royal Engineers.
