1 item (to illustrate information in a telegram from C S Burnett to L Oliphant at the Foreign Office) extracted from FO 371/10837. Middle East: Syria. Sketch map of the area between and around Nisibiu and Jezire known as the Syrian Wedge, showing boundary lines claimed by the French and Turkish Governments, Turkey possibly moving southwards to gain use of the railway for an invasion of Iraq in Mosul area.
